hello :) welcome to DA!! thank you *SO* much for the comments and the favs and the watch (..phew!)

erm....I've been taking pics for a couple of years now and I love b&w more than anything!! (but colour slide is gooood!)

Good luck with the b&w photos - my biggest tip - buy some colour filters...i bought some a year ago and they really make a difference to b&w pics :)

Hey there...

yep, colour filters....they're just coloured plastics that you use with b&w film to give more contrast (use red for the most, green to lighten up greens in the picture)

it's also worth looking at the page on " Duotone" - I love Duotone in Paintshop :)

(but I *love* my SLR more ;))
